A DAY LEFT tend to get thrown in with the current crop of bands in the ever-growing emo/post-hardcore scene. Think Hundred Reasons and Hell is for Heroes. But this fails to capture the more epic and progressive leanings, which point to bands such as Oceansize and Mogwai. As such, the band sees itself as pursuing a vision that incorporates powerful and catchy melodies but with an emphasis on dynamics, creative arrangement and a growing inclination towards the epic.
