Dr Dog emerged from the streets of West Philadelphia, recently toured with Architecture In Helsinki and releae debut record 'Easybeat' on Aug 22nd (Rough Trade). The album contains more hooks than Abu Hamza’s glove drawer, and songs so raw, effortless and honest, they make comparisons redundant. The arrangements twist and turn, the feel is ragged, but always melodic and above all, soulful. Dr Dog have occasionally been known to sport beards.
