Formed in 2000 by the brothers Batke, Faunts tread in the same territories as Sigur Ros or Mogwai with an added pop sensibilities.

They released their first album 'High Expectations/Low results' in 2005 and have seen their synth player Joel Hitchcock leave at the end of the same year.

They will have a new member and a new EP coming for the end of 2006.
