Freeheat were conceived in the last months of the 20th century when Jim Reid - founding member of the legendary Jesus and Mary Chain - hooked up with former band mate and guitarist Ben Lurie bassist Romi Mori (formerly of the Gun Club) and drummer Nick Sanderson (another Gun Club member and frontman with Earl Brutus).

Their debut EP 'Retox' is due for release on November 5.
