Four young schoolfriends influenced by bands like CabaretVoltaire, Devo, Thechameleons, Wire , Gang Of Four, Joy division, Magazine...; Monomen are part of the post-punk revival. But their way of mixing catchy melodies, riffs, weird electronics and murky vocals is all their own.

After releasing their first self-titled EP on Oslo label Trust Me Records in 2006, they intend to release their first album Spring 2007.
