Described by the All Music Guide as an innovative blend of beauty and aggression that rarely surfaces in death metal and even less frequently appears this realized, Swedish Thrashers The Haunted include previous members of At The Gates, Witchery and Face-Down. After a series of line-up changes, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2000. The album recieved acclaim from metal critics, but after its release the band lost their drummer and singer, and were forced to re-create the line-up before returning to the studio to record their latest album The Haunted Made me Do It, released through Earache Records.
