THE KNOCK - An unconventional electronic dance act where the band play all the instruments and write all the hooks, no sampling of old soul records but instead original riffs. A dance act where classic songwriting is the most important thing not gimmicky samples and this is also a band who are more at home ripping up stages on the toilet circuit with a full band than Dj-ing at a swanky club...

At the forefront of the band is the dual vocal displays of the Jeff Buckleyesque tones of Toby Watson and the raw power and energy of Sam Fuller, the guitars both also supplied by Toby and Sam hark back to days between '68-'79. A collection of vintage keyboards, analogue synths and classic samplers are operated by Jim Sanders, the disco flavored bass is played by Baz Lokat and the driving drums and percussion are delivered by John Harris.

The band who come from Essex are in their early 20's and already have the experience of playing to big audiences at Shepherds Bush Empire and the Meanfiddler plus with praised acclaimed from industry types - you will be hearing a lot more about The Knock by the end of the year.
