DiS SURVEY: Have Your Say
DiS SURVEY: Have Your Say
oappleby by Ollie Appleby March 18th, 2003
DrownedInSound.com, it seems you either love it or hate it, the Message Boards are never quiet and you've obviously got a lot to say, and as DiS has always been about interactivity, we've got yet another way for you to get your voice heard...

As you know, DiS is written by music fans, for music fans, and over the last few years we've recruited most of our new writers from avid DiS fans who wanted to get more involved. Involved that is, in the ever evolving community that we're building with thousands of articles and the ever expanding lineup of DiS tours and club nights around the country, it's a bigger and better world every day.

A year ago DiS launched it's User Area, now with over 2200 people signed up and making use of the features at their disposal to upload a personal profile, rate bands, keep a weblog and send those instant messages that I know you kids like. But that wasn't the end of it...

Six weeks ago we wrote you an Open Letter, talking about our plans to continue developing the website, asking for your general opinions on what direction we should be going in etc, you gave us a massive response.

We now want to ask you even more questions, for you to take part in a little survey if you will. This is your chance to get involved with a sort of in-depth focus group, just like the Government does, but the difference is we'll actually listen to what you have to say...

To get involved just send a blank e-mail to ollie@drownedinsound.com with 'DiS survey' as the subject and i'll get back to you with all the details. Remember, you can't complain if you don't vote, this is where you can do both at once.
