FukdID #4 Announced
jmoore by James Moore June 5th, 2001
The 4th release in the FukdID series is from the British Meat Scene.

Wondering who the hell they are? Here's their press release:

"British Meat Scene are Duncan Mackay and Rupert Lyddon.

Duncan Mackay has been around the underbelly of the music industry for a while now. His post modernistic nu-psychedelic trumpet playing led him to become a member of 'The Scream Team ARKESTRA'. He has also worked with David Holmes, Death In Vegas and Richard Ashcroft. Life took a left hand turn and music followed in the same direction. Due to a heavy bout of touring, Duncan is currently sitting down. Rupert's involvement with the British Meat Scene stemmed from his involvement with North London's poshest organic meat suppliers. Rupert knows his meat.

Both he and Duncan realised that his underground connections could get their music project into the studio. The two decided the best place to record would be Scream Heights. The British Meat Scene was born. It is rumoured that Andrew Innes favourite sausage is Albanian....."

Hope thats cleared things up for you!

The tracklisting for the release is:

1. My Naughty Birdworld
2. British Meat Scene
3. Punishment Farm
4. Shatners Tactic

As always it'll be out on both 12" and CD. Both with deluxe packaging - black sleeves with silver stickering and will be limited to a 1000 copies of each format. It'll retail at £3.99.
