The club, which will be held at various locations around the country (see below), will feauture music best suited to drunken party-, and dare we say prom-, style wholehearted sing-alongs. Think well-known songs from well-known artists, all ripe for the good time sing-along treatment.
The idea for such a night came to McGee during a DJ slot at this year's Glastonbury Festival. When told to turn down the volume, McGee was met by a wave of voices singing along with whatever was played. Taking the proverbial bovine by its headgear, McGee placed tunes by the likes of The Kinks, Oasis, The Verve and The Beatles onto the turntables and thus, the Rock N Roll Promz seed was sown.
