Izumi know it's Christmas

Izumi Records are releasing a charity Christmas album, to be made available through iTunes from December 6th.

Featuring new songs and performances of some traditional Christmassy niceness, the compilation features such young hopefuls and indie luminaries as Emmy The Great (pictured), Duke Special, Duels, David Ford, Iain Archer, Envelopes, Electric Soft Parade, The Joseph & Mary Chain and El Perro Del Mar. It hopes to raise money for Shelter (www.shelter.org.uk), a housing charity.

It’s Not Like Christmas will be available as a digital download from the iTunes Music Store worldwide from 6th Dec 2006 with a general release a week later on 13th December 2006.
