Belle & Sebastian have welcomed another into their fold as 'Belfast' Bobby Kildea joined the band yesterday.
Bobby - who is also a member of Glasgow gangsters V-Twin and part of The Reindeer Section - has been working with the band as a session guitarist & bassist following the departure of founding member and bassist Stuart David.
Bobby, one of the 'Jonathan David ' cover stars, is said to be "relaxing at home with a fat one" following a traumatic initiation ceremony.
The all new B&S lineup go back into CaVa studios next week to complete work on their soundtrack record to Todd Solondz's new film "Storytelling" - which has its UK Premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival on August 18th. The record is expected to be released along with the film in the autumn.
Belle & Sebastian will also release another single in the autumn, featuring some of the new songs premiered during the recent UK tour.
