Super Furry Animals will release their eighth studio LP on August 27. The title on the sleeve: Hey Venus!.
The album, as is traditional, will be preceded by a single. 'Show Your Hand' is released on August 13. Both come to you via the Rough Trade stable. Nice.
And on to live news: the band are to play a four-night residency at Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach next month, starting on June 11 and finishing - like, d'uh - on June 14. The band haven't played said venue for some 12 years. Full forthcoming live dates as follows:
