The Dawn Parade: Live dates starting tonite..
oappleby by Ollie Appleby September 14th, 2001
THE DAWN PARADE - RAGINGLY PASSIONATE WIDESCREEN ROCK'N'ROLL

The Dawn Parade's debut single "Good Luck Olivia" (NYC/Pinnacle records) is released on November 5th, and will be available in all reasonable record shops... featuring songs 'THE DARK STUFF' and 'INTO THE FIRE', for only £1.99.

Rumours that the release is going head to head with Michael Jackson's new single are impossible to confirm at present, according to the Dawn Parade: "since Jackson, coward that he is, is refusing to confirm his release date... our hand is on the table, Michael... it seems the game is on the other foot now, eh?"

The official single release party for "Good Luck Olivia" should happen at The Barfly, possibly on November 6th or 8th... "if anyone's interested in coming down to London for the party, let us know..."

The Half Past Dawn Tour kicks off on October the 18th, "burning up Britain's green and pleasant motorways and puking in her Welcome Breaks" until November the 10th.

Until then, Lives Dates include...

SEPTEMBER 2001

Friday 14th - ELY BAND CONTEST, LITTLEPORT LEISURE CENTRE 8PM...

Tuesday 18th - THE BREAK, BURY ST EDS + BLUE GANDHI, ANTIHERO, SHADOWFAX 8PM, £2
