Karen OMG: Stellar cast for NASA record
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly July 3rd, 2007

Tom Waits, Karen O, John Frusciante, M.I.A., David Byrne, various members of Wu Tang Clan, KRS-One, Lovefoxxx... all will appear on one new record.

NASA is the name of the collaboration between Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zegon, the former being the brother of noted film director Spike Jonze. Frere Spike has obviously been pulling some fairly heavy strings.

The album is thus far untitled, but here's a provisional tracklisting as reported by Pitchfork:

'The People Tree' - featuring David Byrne, Chail 2na, Gift of Gab and Z-Trip
'Nasa Music' - Method Man and DJ Swamp
'Way Down' - RZA, John Frusciante and Barbie Hatch
'Hip Hop' - KRS-One, Fatlip and Slim Kid Tre
'Four Rooms, Earth View'
'Money' - David Byrne, Seu Jorge, Ras Congo and Z-Trip
'Strange Enough' - Karen O, Ol' Dirty Bastard and Fatlip
'Samba Hey' (Portuguese Version) - Seu Jorge
'A Volta' - Lovefoxxx, Amanda Blank and Sizzle
'The Ultimate' - Fatlip and Gift Of Gab
'Spacious Thoughts' - Tom Waits and Kool Keith
'Electric Flowers' - RZA and Nina Persson
'There's A Party' - George Clinton
'O Pato' - Kool Kojak
'Whachadoin?' - MIA, Spank Rock and Nick Zinner
'Samba Soul' - Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and DJ Obert
'I Am God' - Kool Kojak
'Outro'

A winter morning is thought to be favoured for the record's launch.
