ATP addition: Vampire Weekend join Pitchfork roster
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver February 14th, 2008

New Yorkers Vampire Weekend are the latest band to be added to the bill of this year's ATP vs Pitchfork weekender, due to 'go off' from May 9-11.

The band - whose self-titled LP (review) is out now - join an already pretty-special bill (full list follows at article end). Reporting the addition, ATP's website states:

"We are very pleased to announce that the hotly tipped VAMPIRE WEEKEND are the latest band to join the list of artists picked by Pitchfork for this festival. Consider this our valentine's gift to you. There are three more bands to be announced soon and this will complete the lineup."

Who will these three be? Jonathan Richman? Maybe? Neutral Milk Hotel? Any rumours DiS doesn't know about? Do tell...
