The Mars Volta's new single and Euro tour
oappleby by Ollie Appleby February 6th, 2002
Ex-ATD-I members, The Mars Volta are to release a split single with The Apes and Les Savy Fav, as well as their own debut record release, both around the time of their upcoming March Euro tour

The Mars Volta, featuring former At The Drive-In members Cedric Bixler and Omar Rodriguez, are set to release 'Tremulant' late March 2002, (on both CD and vinyl) including the tracks 'Cut That City', 'Concertina' and 'Eunuch Provocateur'.

Also to come is a split EP with New York art-punks Les Savy Fav and The Apes, to commemorate the three bands' imminent UK dates. The single, which sees each band contribute one track, will be released on March 11 through Southern.

Full (vague) Euro tour dates have so far been released with 5 UK locations, but for the dedicated fan a little continental travel could be in order. More specific tour dates as they are announced.
