Sex Pistols, Sigur Ros, Franz and MBV for Electric Picnic 2008

Rumours are circulating that Sex Pistols and Sigur Ros are planning to collaborate onstage at this year’s Electric Picnic after the pair of acts were confirmed to headline the Irish festival.

The third bill-topper comes in the form of Franz Ferdinand, while The Gossip, The Breeders and CSS all star further down the card.

Interestingly, Faust are playing and Kevin Shields’ My Bloody Valentine has been overlooked as headliner for a major event in the country in which he spent his adolescence. Interesting.
