Liars, Clinic, Low: Radiohead pick team for Daydream Festival
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly March 27th, 2008

The line-up for the Radiohead-curated Daydream Festival in Barcelona has been announced today.

That Bat for Lashes and Liars, recently chosen as the overlords’ tour support in Europe and the US respectively, are on the bill should come as no surprise, though the names of Clinic, Low and Modeselektor should come out of varying shades of blue.

Modeselektor, incidentally, also support Thom Yorke and co. on their jaunt around Europe and the UK; we just didn’t tell you because we didn’t know. There will also be an exclusive performance of Off Computer, a reinterpretation of OK Computer by 14-piece orchestra The Ensemble Nacional de Música Contemporánea de España.

Radiohead’s European tour diary now looks like this, if you need reminding, and you’ll notice that the Daydream Festival takes place on the 12th of June:

June
6 Dublin Malahide
7 Dublin Malahide
9 Paris, France Bercy
10 Paris, France Bercy
12 Barcelona, Spain Parc del Forum (Day Dream festival)
14 Nimes, France Arenes
15 Nimes, France Arenes
17 Milan, Italy Civica Arena
18 Milan, Italy Civica Arena
24 London Victoria Park
25 London Victoria Park
27 Glasgow Green
29 Manchester LCCC
