Hirameka Hi-Fi: 'Sprezzatura' forces strike
oappleby by Ollie Appleby March 14th, 2002
Hirameka Hi-Fi's first full album out in 6 weeks, preshadowed by a UK tour and promise of a fast recording/release shedule.

'Sprezzatura' is released on April 22nd designed with "precise cuts and sweet showers of accident, embracing their fears and weaknesses to conceive... the Hirameka Hi-Fi aesthetic."

This record is to be a point of departure, the first of many Hirameka Hi-Fi records, but olny "a moment, a means to an end." Tracks including the fatal jerk of 'Take On The Break', the sweltering swoop of 'All A-tremble', and the rampant, rollicking 'Redemption Kicker', to the ragged shuffle of the title track.

Battles are fought and won in the course of these tunes, battles you can join during the pre-release UK tour in April with Electro Group supporting. Also, Song of Zarathustra & Metrophon jump onboard for the Leeds gig, after their Nottingham Social show with Wolves of Greece on 1st April.

5th - Leeds White Stag (with Song of Zarathustra & Metrophon)
