Quitting Pink With Knives: London glitch-core punks call time
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver May 27th, 2008

London-based glitch-punk trio Cutting Pink With Knives - one of my favourite live acts, no question - are to call it quits once they've honoured existing commitments.

Says MySpace:

"We are splitting up. No drama, no hatred between us - just seemingly going in different directions musically, in terms of lifestyle and what we all want(ed) to achieve both with this band and with life in general. Me (Alex) and Ed will certainly be back in other bands."

These will be the band's final shows:

May
30 Liverpool Korova with I Was A Cub Scout, Rolo Tomassi
31 Bradford Love Apple

June
14 Paris I'Inattendu

July
5 Aalbeke, Belgium Farmfest
11 Birmingham Supersonic Festival with Earth, Battles, more
19 Herk, Belgium Rock Herk with Battles, Roni Size, more

"There may be one other, but probably not to be honest. Please come out and say bye."

DiS wishes CPWK members all the best for the future.
