Miss Black America - live dates for the next few months
oappleby by Ollie Appleby March 23rd, 2002
After 8 weeks of driving up and down the UK touring, Miss Black America begin to get ready for the next single release and video shoot, but you'll hear about that soon enough...

In the meantime, a massive list of tour dates, one off gigs and all dayers, starting with a headline set at the "all-dayer for Roz."

Miss Black America are to headline the Name of the Rose all-dayer on Saturday 30th March, in aid of the Rosamund Dunham Trust. The venue is the Gt Welneatham Community Centre, near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Roz Dunham was a schoolfriend of Seymour and Gish who committed suicide after battling with anorexia and depression for nearly 10 years. The Rosamund Dunham Trust was set up by her family to help young people who suffer from mental illnesses once they reach 18 and the state is no longer responsible for their wellbeing.

Also appearing on the bill will be Blue Gandhi, The Dawn Parade, Antihero, Slowdrowned, El Spoonio, The Exiles (acoustic), Aberration, Fat Panda, Seymour & Ellie and Greg MacDonald (solo), plus DJs. Doors are at 1.30pm, bar closes at 11.30pm.

Tickets are £10 and from Hardcore Hobbies, St Johns St, Bury St Edmunds, or by e-mailing nameoftherose2002@hotmail.com.

A special shuttle bus service will be running between Bury St Edmunds Town Centre (Ram Meadow Football Ground) leaving at: 1.00pm, 1.45pm, 2.30pm, 3.15pm, 6.30pm and returning from Gt Welneatham Community Centre at: 10.00pm, 10.30pm, 11.00pm, 11.30pm and midnight.

To reserve a space on the bus (£1), please e-mail Seymour MBA at nameofthecoach2002@hotmail.com. stating your name, how many tickets you want and what times you wish to travel at (there and/or back).

Other tour dates, including (new label-mates) Antihero, who recently signed to Integrity Records, and whose first single release on the label, 'Rolling Stones T-Shirt', is due out in June. And Tex La Homa, are joining for a few dates. Some dates have yet to be confirmed, but here's the live gigs for the next few months:
