Cheer up, guys - you've just signed a record deal!
Bella Union - one of DiS's favourite labels of recent years (read our Label Profile) - has completed the signing of Los Angeles' tropical punks Abe Vigoda - one of DiS's favourite bands of this year.
Says the label: "Part punk, part pop, part new wave, part tropical, Abe Vigoda bring forth an entirely new sound that is both temptingly beautiful and melodically tropical." We couldn't agree more, as might just be implied by our recent review of their first proper album, Skeleton, HERE.
Bella Union will give Skeleton an official UK release - it is out stateside via PPM - on August 11.
