Tech House and Breakbeat Flavours on the South Coast
swijetilleka by Sajini Wijetilleka April 18th, 2002
The Isle of Wight’s only tribal tech house organization, Deep Promotions, has just launched a series of events at Woody’s nightclub in Newport, showcasing the talent of local DJ’s & producers B.Cyde, Darren Farrow, Marc Dempsey, Dave Bird and Daryl Stay.

Deep is one of the newest entities to the South coast scene and is designed to provide "something a bit different in terms of music and atmosphere."

The Island club scene is currently dominated by hard house but the organisation intends to offer an alternative with a mix of techno, house, and breakbeats aimed at slightly older clubbers.

The party will then take up residency at the Island's newest venue ‘Temptation’, in May.
