Hungry? This Ain't No Picnic menu swells
dionisio by Rob Webb September 16th, 2008

Another festival? Yes indeed. We told you a while back that those nice folk over at Smalltown America Records were putting on a September shindig at King's College, London, but we didn't tell you the full lineup. Why? Because we didn't know it then. We do now, and it's worth a follow-up.

This Ain't No Picnic 2008 (September 27-28)

Saturday: Bearsuit, Calories, Cats In Paris, Chris T-T, Copy Haho, Future Of The Left, Gindrinker, The Deirdres, Gossamer Albatross, Ice, Sea, Dead People, Instruments, Jam On Bread, Joe Gideon & The Shark, The Light Sleepers, Superman Revenge Squad, This Town Needs Guns, Tropics

Sunday: 4 Or 5 Magicians, Alan MX, Applicants, Brontosaurus Chorus, Crimesss, The Duloks, Fighting With Wire, Polysics, Popular Workshop, Laura Wolf, Let Our Enemies Beware, The Retro Spankees, The Strange Death of Liberal England, Super Tennis, Tubelord, William, The Young Playthings

How can you join in with the fun? Weekend tickets (available online) cost a totally reasonable £25, or you can take in half the action for £15. Entry to the Student Union's Saturday clubnight (open 'til 4am) is included if you buy a weekend or Saturday ticket.

Need an extra reason? All proceeds from the event will be donated to charity, split between Cancer Research UK and The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Excuses? N/A.
