Fanfarlo offer up album for just a buck
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater June 10th, 2009

Ever wondered what to do with those few dollar bills left in your pocket from your latest excursion to the States? Well, instead of staring into the eyes and curly locks of General Washington, longing for Macy's or the NYC skyline, you could always start here.

Indie poppers Fanfarlo are making their latest album, Reservoir, available for download for just a dollar, or about 71 of your dirtiest British pennies at current rate of exchange. You can get it by visiting the official website from now until July 4.

This also includes four bonus tracks. Bonus.

Reasons? The band say:

Hello. Because we want everyone to hear our album, and in the spirit of “why not”, we are now letting you download it, along with 4 exclusive bonus tracks, for a mere one dollar until July 4th (or, if you like, Independence Day.) After that, the madness will end and you will be able to get the CD, the vinyl and a beautiful new special edition at normal prices.

Why on earth not indeed! Access for all!

In all fairness, it's probably worth it.

To put it into context, a packet of Sainsbury's Chocolate Chip Digestive biscuits is 73p.

A packet of crisps at a local boozer is around 60p.

Dolla' Dolla' Bill Y'all!
