Banjo or Freakout, A Grave With No Name, Male Bonding and more for New Cross festival
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater September 8th, 2009

The first draft of bands for the second Nail The Cross festival in New Cross, London have been announced with Male Bonding, A Grave With No Name, and Banjo or Freakout among the most notable of artists on the bill.

The festival takes place on Saturday October 10 in and around New Cross and runs from 1730 to something like four in the morn'. So toughen up.

Among last year's artists were band of the moment The XX, These New Puritans, Micachu, S.C.U.M and and Benga. So y'know, a per-etty decent line-up all in all.

So far confirmed for this year's festival are:

Kode 9 + Spaceape
Joker
Hudson Mohwake
Darkstar
Ikonika
A Grave With No Name
Archie M
Banjo or Freakout
Bok Bok
Capser C
Gentle Friendly
Joy Orbison
Kindness
Male Bonding
Dignan Porch
Deep Shit
Hype Williams
Veronica Falls
Kindness...and plenty more.

Plus, there's all day art curated by Off Modern and Take Courage, a Hyperdub stage, and £10 early bird tickets are now available on Gigantic.

More information can be found on No Pain In Pop and Adventures In The Beetroot Field who co-organise and promote the event.
