Listen: Download Black Tambourine - 'For Ex-Lovers Only'
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater March 29th, 2010

Right, so we've just published an interview with Black Tambourine looking at the re-issue of their definitive collection, this time in deluxe format. That's released through Slumberland today (March 29). Every track has been remastered and it also features four new tracks - one a Suicide cover, another a Buddy Holly reworking and two original recordings. Exciting.

What better time to give away an mp3 from it, then? Now is the time. 'For Ex-Lovers Only' is the opening track of the re-issue and you can download it by clicking below. There's also a video for it, which is just beneath it. Their star may have shone only for a very brief period but it shone quite brilliantly. This is also a reasonably decent metaphor for their actual music, too, and indeed the music it influences.
