Mudhoney to tour UK and Ireland this Autumn
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater June 10th, 2010

Are we still using the word Grunge? No? Good, because dirty, scuzzy and above all fuzzy rock 'n' roll legends that are Mudhoney have announced a string of dates around Britain and Ireland for the Autumn. By now we're accustomed to seeing them play a solitary London date with perhaps one or two others scattered around, but ten dates is what constitutes a proper tour. So that's good news.

Things will kick off in Ireland before heading over the little bit of sea or channel to come here. Anyway you can catch Mark Arm, Steve Turner and co. on these dates at these places:

September:
30- Cork, Cyrus Avenue

October:
1 - Dublin, Button Factory
2 - Galway, Roisin Dub
3 - Belfast, Limelight
4 - Newcastle, Northumbira Uni
5 - Brighton, Concorde 2
6 - London, Electric Ballroom
7 - Leeds, Uni Stylus
8 - Aberdeen, Tunnels
9 - Glasgow, Arches

Tickets are currently on sale from the usual outlets. You know where to go. The Seattle band released their most recent album, The Lucky Ones back in 2008. No word on any new material yet, but you can read a chat we had with them in October of last year by clicking here.
