Latitude announce more additions including They Might Be Giants
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater April 14th, 2011

Latitude Festival have announced the next lot of additions for their wonderful Suffolk-based festival in July. Not a great deal, in fairness, but they do like a drip-feed of bands to whet your appetite. Anyway here are the new lot:

Obelisk Arena:
They Might Be Giants

The Word Arena:
Os Mutantes

Film and Music Arena:
Mark Lamarr's God's Jukebox featuring: Ska Cubano, Barrence Whitfield, Kalakuta Millionaires, The Zizanques

...and that is absolutely it. Bit thin on the ground but welcome nonetheless. They join these acts, who were announced around this time last month.

Anna Calvi, Avi Buffalo, The Bees, Bellowhead, Bright Eyes, British Sea Power, Caitlin Rose, Caribou, Chapel Club, Crocodiles, Crystal Fighters, C.W. Stoneking, Deerhunter, The Duke And The King, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Edwyn Collins, Esben and the Witch, Everything Everything, Fight Like Apes, Foals, Foster The People, Glasser, Gold Panda, Graffiti 6, Hurts, I Am Kloot, Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan, Jenny and Johnny, Kele, KT Tunstall, The Leisure Society, Lloyd Cole, Marques Toliver, My Morning Jacket, The Naked and Famous, The National, OMD, Paloma Faith, Paolo Nutini, Phildel, Rumer, Suede ~ Thea Gilmore ~ Tripwires, Trophy Wife, The Vaccines, Villagers, Violens, Wanda Jackson, The Waterboys and Yann Tiersen.

This year's edition of Latitude takes place from July 14-17 at the usual place, Henham Park Estate in Suffolk. More bands will, of course, be announced but in the meantime you can found out more relevant information on the official website.
