Explosions In The Sky announce movie and concert double bill
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater November 4th, 2011

Explosions In The Sky have announced a double bill of film + music festivities for later this month. On Monday November 21 they will play live at the Prince Charles Cinema in London, but before that, there's a screening of American Movie. You can find out more on Wikipedia, of course. But that might spoil some of the surprise.

Perhaps slightly confusingly, there is no single ticket for the event, rather you'll have to buy a ticket for American Movie for either £6 or £4.50 and then buy a ticket for the show, which costs £15. The band will play for 45 minutes, starting at 2215. It's this kind of planning which has stood them in good stead.

The night before this all happens they play Bristol's Academy. No film for that, however. Still, they'll be back next year. Here are the band's UK tour dates for 2012.

January:
22 – Belfast, Mandela Hall
23 - Glasgow, Academy
24 – Leeds, – Academy
25 - Gateshead, The Sage
27 - London, Brixton Academy
