Following a successful funding drive, we've managed to raise money to move over to a new forum and ensure the future of the site. Thank you to everyone who made a donation, we raised over £5000.

Please take a moment to say your goodbyes to the old boards. We will be locking all threads on this site from early October. Nothing will be lost, but you won't be able to reply or post there any longer.

The good news is that despite being a slightly different format, the new forums already seem to be a hit with our users. They work loads better on mobile. The sign-up and staying logging in is great (isn't so great on the current site). There are also a few cool little things they do that this place can't, like when you post a link to a YouTube or SoundCloud url on a new line, it'll embed the video! Plus there's a lot of clever stuff to do with trust-levels which should prevent spam and trolls and all those things that have ruined the community in the past.

The new forums are ad-free and will cost a minimum of $200 a month to host your conversations, so if you'd like to support us with a small donation each month, you can do so using Patreon here or PayPal here.

Please note: You will need to create a new user account. You can keep your existing username (and we will try, at some point, to merge the old boards over) but you will need a new password.
