Massive Attack: 100 Unbroken Windows
sean by Sean Adams November 17th, 2002
That band from Bristol that released 2 albums that everyone owned back in the day, have a 4th album ready...

Despite recently consuming themselves with their anti-war CND championing (and rightly so), Massive Attack have found time to write and record their fourth album entitled '100th Window' which is due for release on February 10th. The vocals of Sinead O'Connor, Damon Albarn and Horace Andy feature on the record.

Tracklisting is as follows:

Future Proof
What Your Soul Sings
Everywhen
Special Cases
Butterfly Caught
A Prayer for England
Small Time Shot Away
Name Taken
Antistar

According to 3D on their official website: "After 'Antistar', there is a 13-minute long bassline to do dinner to/sleep at the wheel to/or f*** your brains out to -- it neatly takes the CD up to its 74-minute limit."

And also reveals that the albums titles Big Brother related: "'100th Window' is an Internet privacy metaphor which became the title of a book [by Charles Jennings and Lori Fena]," he said. "The idea [is] that no matter how careful u are -- no matter how many security devices u have on your windows -- u will leave just one of them unprotected -- everyone can and will know everything about u and there will be truly nowhere left to hide."

Billboard, are reporting a rumour that they're already working on the next album and that it will have "Tom Waits and Mos Def for that project." Blimus.
