Silence of the Juggalos
mmarsh by Mark Marsh March 16th, 2001

How free is our speech?

As reported by Jelly Nuts on InsaneClownPosse.Com earlier this week police burst in and cancelled a recent ICP in the middle or their opening act Mars.

It is reported that the police and other authorities had tried everything to stop ICP's show going ahead that night. Luckily they had a water tight road crew and fire and police officials couldn't find anything to shut them down and prevent the show.

Onto the show itself, during Mars' opening set Police in full riot gear burst onto the scene claiming everybody should evacuate the building as they had recieved a bomb threat. The alleged threat was phoned directly to the police and not the venue. One thing stands out as strange is the fact that the police happened to get to the venue near enough as soon as the call was recieved.

ICP's label Psychopathic Records has started legal proceedings against the authorities involved as besides the unusual happenings they also captured on video tape police brutality towards the present Juggalos (ICP fans). One 14 year old boy was beaten to the ground until he passed out by police claims the report by Jelly Nuts.

Shepherdsville's police have yet to comment
