DedBeat: Be Seen Ded in Norwich
rubbafish by Colin Weston January 19th, 2003
The DedBeat Weekender has been rescheduled from November 2002 and the new date and location are now confirmed.

The DedBeat Weekender is now taking place between Friday February 28th and Sunday March 2nd in the ultra-rockin location of the Pontin's Holiday Village at Hemsby.

We may be far away from the Summer Festies - no fear though, 'cause to keep us happy in the meantime Norfolk hosts a weekender that showcases the best in HipHop and Rap. Although a ticket will set you back £90 you get a decent bang for your hard-earned wedge, check it out:

- self-catering, en suite, brick-built accommodation, ALL with a TV (which as well as the normal channnels will also have Dedbeat TV & Radio straight to your chalet)
- full access to all the Park Facilities inc. a go-kart track, indoor swimming pool & pool party, games consoles, amusement arcade, pool and snooker rooms.

In additional to all that you have the usual festival shenanigans including breaking exhibitions, b-boy battles, music workshops by 'Native Instruments', a skate course, skate exhibitions, abseiling & commando zip line and, best of all, 24 hour pub price bars!

Personal highlights include The Grand Pubah and the stunning Blackalicious, with a host of confirmed bands to date (more to come in the next few weeks) - for full details try Dedbeat.net. Selecta!
