The group announced the split onstage at their London Docklands show. Their final single will be 'Say Goodbye' on May 28th, followed by the inevitable 'Greatest Hits' album in winter.
According to website www.sclubtower.com, slightly rubbish spinoff group S Club Juniors will now be called S Club 8. Their upcoming single, 'Fool No More' will be their first release under that name, and it's out on June 2nd.
