Super-sludge doom-psych (insert adjective here) compilation due in April
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver March 7th, 2006

Set your brain to meltdown: come April 25th, New York label Kemado will release a rather superb-looking compilation of skull-crackingly brilliant doom-cum-psych-goes-stoner tremendousness. YES.

Featuring rare/unreleased material from the fuck-me-sideways-amazing likes of Comets On Fire, Black Mountain (pictured), Witch, Dungen and The Fucking Champs, Invaders is sure to be a must-buy for, well, me. And you, if you've any sense.

Invaders comes with liner notes by author Ian Christe, who penned Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal. Sounds FAT. The compilation is launched, kinda, at SXSW's Positively 4th Street on March 18th.

Good-gosh tracklisting:

1 Saviors - 'Circle of Servant's Bodies'
2 Danava - 'By the Mark'
3 Big Business - 'As the Day Was Dawning'
4 Black Mountain - 'Behind the Fall'
5 The Sword - 'Under the Boughs'
6 Dungen - 'Christopher'
7 Witch - 'Rip Van Winkle'
8 The Fucking Champs - 'The Loge'
9 Torche - 'Mentor'
10 Pelican - 'Ran Amber'
11 High on Fire - 'Devilution' (radio edit)
12 Witchcraft - 'Queen of Bees' (live)
13 Comets on Fire - 'Wolf Eyes' (Middle Version)
14 Diamond Nights - '12 Walls'
15 Wolfmother - 'Love Train'
16 Night After Night - 'Backseat Astronaut'
17 Warhammer 48k - 'Get Bodacious'
18 Parchman Farm - 'Curtis Franklin'
