Scuttle split
schown by Stu Chown May 28th, 2003
Brighton's finest post-hardcore chaps Scuttle have split.

Vocalist Steve left a parting message on their official message board:

"Well, it was never gonna be easy writing this, but I'm afraid to say that as of today, May 22nd, Scuttle are no more. It's been a mutual decision between us and certainly maybe one of the hardest decisons we have made but we are bowing out. Thank you to all those who have already heard and gotten in contact and said such cool things to me about the band, it is nice to know we had some degree of impact in our four years together.

As I'm writing this I guess I should say thanks to Gareth, Burton, Matt and Rich for some of the best times of my life and some of the best laughs I have ever had. Thank you also to Giles, Dan and hey...even Rob for being part of this too along the way.

Everything's a bit weird right now, so I'm off.

Thank you to everyone who supported us, said kind words, bought our cd's etc, we appreciate your support immensley.

Bollocks to everyone else.

As for what's next....hmmmm......

Adios"

DiScuss: Who are Scuttle? Does anyone care that they've split up? Are you sad to see 'em go?
