December IS Izzard, Non!
rubbafish by Colin Weston June 18th, 2003
The comedic god known as Eddie Izzard is set to do his first UK stand up performances in 4 years as part of his upcoming world tour.

Entitled Sexie, his whole set is to be played out in front a huge video screen at the venues over the 15 gigs, he is expected play in front of a total of 130,000 people (I know, PR spiel but it is still impressive!) Also, at the Wembley gigs there will be someone signing the whole set for the deaf and a ticket allocation has been set aside for those with hearing difficulties.

Now for the uber important bit: The venues and dates are as follows :-

December

6/7th - The Brighton Centre
9th - Birmingham NIA
10th - Sheffield Hallam FM Arena
11th - Newcastle Telewest Arena
12/13th - Glasgow SECC
15th - Manchester Evening News Arena
16th - Cardiff International Arena
17th - Bournemouth International Centre
18th - Nottingham Arena
22/23rd - Wembley Arena

To book your tickets for 'Sexie', call the booking hotline 0870 442 0331 or visit his official site by clicking here here.

BUT that is not all. As you may also be aware, the comedic genius is also due to play several low key dates in the coming weeks with details being kept very hush hush as regards the venues! We will provide you with more details as we have them.
