The Great Escape: Day tickets now available, times and venues announced
crablin by Colin Roberts April 27th, 2006

Just a quickie this one...

You know the drill by now. Brighton, 18-20th May, 14 venues and an incredible arrays of bands and artists. Someone, somewhere else called it the UK version of South by Southwest, but I'm not going to. Why? Well, 65daysofstatic (pictured) weren't at SXSW and that instantly puts this above all else. FACT.

Day tickets to the event are now available at the official site, www.escapegreat.com, where you'll also find full details of the line-up, where the artists are playing and at what time.

Don't forget DiS hosts the Friday night at The Zap Club, featuring Howling Bells, Komakino, Les Incompetents, Jeniferever and our extra special guests, The Cooper Temple Clause alongside the amazing array of artists on elsewhere in the town.

Also additionally, Adventures Close to Home have added a party on the Friday night from midnight 'til 6am at a venue called The Beach (171 - 181 Kings Road Arches), live performances from The Gossip, Shychild and Drowned in Sound Recordings' very own Metric.Tickets are £6 in advance / £8 on the door or £3 with a Great Escape wristband.
