Von Bondies' Double Date
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 10th, 2003

The Von Bondies are back with two appearances at London's 100 Club next month, showcasing material from their forthcoming third LP, 'Pawn Shoppe Heart', their first for new label, Warners.

The album, which features the single 'C'mon C'mon' (out 12th January 2004), was produced by Jerry Hanson, whose credits include Talking Heads and the Modern Lovers.

The Von Bondies will play on the 4th and 7th of November. They will be the first shows by the band on British soil since the Reading Festival and follow a string of tours across the US. The band have publicly fallen out with The White Stripes' Jack White, who produced their last record, 'Lack Of Communication'. The Stripes frontman claimed The Von Bondies were the "sore thumbs" of the Detroit music scene

Former Von Bondie supports, Modey Lemon, play tonight (Friday 10 October) at London's Barfly.
