It has long been that their thunder-stringer Johnny was the enveloping force of all things RAWK (I do apologise for writing that word) and his antics over the past month have certainly not stopped the twittering voices.
The dear chappie had been believed missing earlier this month - reported to Les Polizei and evvvverything. But he turned up. Eventually. Actually what he’d been doing was celebrating getting his driving license back. It had been forcibly removed from his person four years earlier for driving like a loon while totally influenced by otherworldly substances. WHOOPS!
As he attempted to reacquire his driving capabilities, he was chased (yes chased) by Les Polizei and crashed into another car. Les Polizei duly discovered that the wily fellow was again driving under some sort of influence and took him back to their pad to sit in a locked room with bars on the windows in a nice stripey suit. This was THE DAY HE GOT HIS LICENSE BACK. Some would say "whoops" again.
Especially when you find out the band were back in Rekjavik for an appearance at the Iceland Airwaves Festival. Luckily he got away with it, somehow, and joined the band to wallop a crowd's ears off.
