Reuben want you!
schown by Stu Chown December 12th, 2003

Surrey rockers Reuben want you to appear in their next video!

From their current mailout:

"Reuben are filming the performance section of the video for their new single 'Freddy Krueger' on Saturday the 20th of December at the West End Centre in Aldershot.

The night will start at 8.00pm, and the first thing to be filmed will be the band in their video costumes miming to the new album version of the track on stage in front of the crowd.  Then after a short interval during which we'll be giving out peanut butter sandwiches and lemonade (no really, we actually will), the band will play a live set including new songs from the album, and the evening will finish at around 10.00pm.

The show itself is free, but if you come along you'll be asked for a £2 donation towards the cost of the fake moustaches that everyone in the crowd must be wearing for the video.  You'll get to keep the moustache of course, and it'll all make sense when the video comes out, we promise.

The most important thing is that ONLY THE FIRST 200 PEOPLE to get through the doors with £2 will be able to take part in the vid, simply because that's as many people as the venue can legally hold.  We've started filming other parts of the video already and it threatens to be our best yet, so come on down and be a part of it!
"

Alternatively, you can also catch the band doing some festive Crimbo shows on the following dates:

DECEMBER
16th Kingston Peel
18th Exeter Cavern

DiScuss: Shouldn't Reuben pay YOU to be their video?
