The label had reportedly been trailing the band for some four years. Piebald are currently in Boston recording tracks for their next album with producer Paul Q Kolderie, whose credits include The Pixies, Radiohead and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
The band will be a welcome addition to a label lacking depth - recent middle-of-the-road pop-punk releases from the likes of Slick Shoes and Maxeen have failed to spark much interest amongst critics and consumers alike.
