jmoore by James Moore April 30th, 2001
To promote the release of their upcoming album and DVD 'Rings Around The World,' Super Furry Animals will invade three UK cities for three weekends in June under the banner of 'Furrymania'.

The cities chosen are Manchester, Glasgow and London and the weekends' activities will include a gig played in surround sound, a screening of the DVD version of 'Rings Around The World' and club nights at which members of the band will DJ. Fans of the band are advised to look out for other special events happening during the weekends.

Manchester
Friday 15th - Evening Screening @ The Cornerhouse Cinema
Late Club Night @ University Cellar Bar
Saturday 16th Evening Concert @ The Academy

Glasgow
Friday 22nd Evening Screening @ Glasgow Film Theatre
Late Club Night @ Renfrew Ferry
Saturday 23rd Evening Concert @ Barrowlands

London
Friday 29th Evening Screening @ Notting Hill Electric Cinema

Saturday 30th Evening Concert @ The Forum

Admission to the screenings and club nights will cost £5, however there will be 100 wristbands available for each weekend which will guarantee the wearer entry into all events - these will cost £20 for Manchester and Glasgow and £25 for London. These special wristbands are only available from www.superfurry.com. All other tickets will be available from www.gigsandtours.com (Manchester and London) and www.gigsinscotland.com (Glasgow).
