...mmm...scruffy...mmm...noisy...this demo does make me think of Kinesis. But then, Kinesis make me think of a lot of bands i like.

This lot are from Edinburgh and they're full of discontent. The demo's gritty but full of swooping loops. They're yet another example of a scene people are missing of bands who prove Tony Wilson's 12-year theory to be true but it's an all-in-one thang. It's soul rhythms and beats, with rock attitude and a punk mentality through-and-through. Ok, maybe it's not like Dance music but that's for people who don't like music, mostly. And like Miss Black America, they have an eponymous track. And there's something a little Queens of the Stoneage about them... And the 2 singers can't quite sing as they vocally wrestle, but that only adds to the magic (see also: frank black, jsbx, penthouse, mark arm, cobain, lapsus lingaue...)
