Damn near straight away the self styled pimp of the nation screams "I'm back!" and if this song is the backup to that line he most certainly is.

Southern funk guitars and bass keep Kid company on this track, who delivers the self-righteous rhymes of Forever with laser guided accuracy. 1998's Devil Without A Cause album sounds like a warmup compared to this track alone, Kid Rock has evolved from simply being good at what he does to bitchslapping every member of the competition and placing the crown upon his own dome.

This track is special and is a great teaser for the album, which incidently boasts guest appearances from Sheryl Crow and Snoop Dogg aswell as many as yet unnamed 'stars'; proving to a sceptical audience that it won't just be American Bad Ass take 2, this is the real deal. Kid Rock has taken rap-rock to a new place with Forever's southern funk sound, now the waiting game is on to see how many other genre's Kid can take and make his own on Cocky
