Johnny Boy

Johnny Boy Theme

Label: Boobytrap Release Date: 10/02/2003

domgourlay by Dom Gourlay February 17th, 2003

Right. Do you lot really think dance music means Scooter, Ian Van Dahl and DJ Sammi??

No?

Good. Cos Johnny Boy are doing that "dance" thing in a sophisticated manner, like Saint Etienne did with 'Nothing Can Stop Us Now' and 'You're In A Bad Way'.

It sounds majestic, yet to the moral majority ( thank fuck we ain't George Bush's sincerity ridden children yet) it has no aesthetic.

Fuck 'em. It rocks.

You can dance? Madonna told ya.

Now do it.
