Kaiser Chiefs odds slashed
Bookmakers William Hill have slashed the odds on Kaiser Chiefs winning the Mercury Music Award from 4/1 to 9/4.
It is the third time in a week that the betting chain have cut their price.
The other two main contenders for the event are Bloc Party, the second favourites at 7/2 and The Magic Numbers at 6/1.
Their album Employment is favourite to win over a varied host of contenders, such as Coldplay, Polar Bear, KT Tunstall, Hard Fi, Maximo Park and many other newcomers.
Why Maximo Park and not The Futureheads? I love the 'Park, but if I was a ceratin Mr Millard I'd feel a little cheated. (Unless it released too long ago to be included, I've forgotten when it came out).
