Best indie disco in London - Mutton, this Friday at Buffalo Bar, N1

francescabrown76 [Edit] [Delete] 10:17, 28 April '09

Come to Mutton people.

From 90s gems you don't hear outside of your living room to today's get-your-arse-on-the-dancefloor-now favourites, Mutton is the friendliest, most unpretentious, good old-fashioned indie disco in London town!

With past DJs including Bob Stanley from Saint Etienne, LR Rockets, Giles Borg (director of up-coming Brit indie flick 1,2,3,4), Long Jane Silver (Radio 6) and Alan Woodhouse (NME), Mutton selects the finest cuts from the riot grrrl, alternative, Britpop, lo-fi and grunge brigades and sprinkles in a little Pavement, Carter USM, Kenickie and Kingmaker with a dash of Belle and Sebastian, Cut Copy, Of Montreal, Franz Ferdinand, Florence & The Machine and Hockey.

It's also the only place you're guaranteed to find a crowd that can remember making C90 mix tapes dancing happily alongside electro kids in skinny jeans. Plus there's a free badge for all!

So come to Mutton!
